The purpose and function of NCI Associates, Ltd. is:
1. To provide Quality Education and Business Coaching to the Real Estate Industry, Building Trades and other Sales-related Professions through a variety of programs, products, and services; 2. To provide individualized and corporate Career Support Services, and 3. To project a Professional Image while being recognized as an Industry Leader in a Profitable Environment.
In 1975, the three founding principals of North Central Institute merged their common vision for the future of the real estate and construction industries into the corporate structure now known as NCI Associates, Ltd. The company is presently directed by one of the original partners under the progressive model established over a quarter century ago. Meeting the needs of the contemporary real estate, building and sales professional has always been a key component of NCI’s mission. This paradigm was, and continues to be, the guiding principal of the organization’s focus.
NCI currently provides the following education opportunities:
■ Entry-level education including license training. ■ Career training and professional development to existing practitioners. ■ Corporate-based training for private businesses and organizations. ■ Strategic partnerships with Local, State, and National Trade Associations serving the Real Estate and Construction industries.
NCI also develops and conducts a number of seminars & workshops for private and corporate groups as well as trade associations.
The professional development team of NCI Associates, Ltd. also creates a number of different learning materials from comprehensive textbooks to specialized training resources. In recognition of the fact that contemporary business environments are in the midst of monumental changes, NCI is creating the education tools necessary for its clients to maintain a comfortable level of competitive independence.
Another important dimension of NCI’s mission is the delivery of consumer-based information resources from classroom programs to printed materials. Today’s real estate consumer is the most knowledgeable and technologically advanced in history. Consequently, modern consumers are taking charge of their desires by educating themselves before the transaction begins.
To meet the demand of this unique circumstance, NCI has broadened its education and consulting focus. NCI consumer-oriented programs are designed to slake the consumer’s growing thirst for information while at the same time promoting the value of using well-trained professionals such as real estate sales associates and licensed builders.
As communication technologies and delivery systems continue to expand globally, individual real estate entrepreneurs and their consumers are becoming more powerful. This is due, in large part, to the utilization of these delivery systems for adult and professional education.
